-25th 26th-
Sunday. Attended the Greek (Russian)
Church this morning. The service was
very interesting, chanting and singing.
Two good clear voices in the choir. The
church is a fair edifice with all the
trappings, bells, paintings and bric-a-brac
of the type so dear to the impressionable people.
Schooner "Challenge" left port for Atka
Island, while the "Kodiak" from Bristol
Bay & the Kuskokwim river entered.
A rainy, bad day.
