48 hours. Am amused about
"Major" Clums latest. He has had
issued, in newspaper form, what
he is pleased to call the "Clum
Record" - in it he announces that
he is a candidate for Delegate
to Congress, and publishes,
probably, every newspaper
account of himself which
has ever appeared. It is one grand
display of silly vanity &
ought to defeat even a great
man - but it may not. The
Record is being distributed publicly.
