Transcript	Was amused while in the great Morgan bank - the only bit of business I heard transacted was when a clerk presented to Mr. Hamilton a bill for a mastadon - for the Morgan museum, but the idea that the greatest bank in American should be buying a mastadon - was funny- -7th- Called on the Brumbaughs & went down town awhile. Dinner at Waldorf Astoria with Mr Ralph - Judge Day & Mr. Turner Went to the Hippodrome - the greatest specutacular play house in America. -8th- From New York to Washington Nothing new, except Naval Orders say that Darrell is an Ensign. Governorship of Alaska still in the air - has been offered to
