town - at Dawson - though expected back
on "Cudahy" today. Informed Frank
Jewett that I would appoint him &
left a bond & oath for him to give.
We passed the "Cudahy" 20 mi. above
Circle, going down, loaded with passengers
& freight. One strong proof of the gen
