Took dinner last night (23) with
Col. Ramsdell (Daniel M.) at his home
on B. St. N.E. #130. Present Senators
Nelson, Dillingham,. Burnham
and Patterson - Sub.Com. which
visited Alaska this summer - also
Mr. John Hayes. and Mr. Johnson
secretaries of Sen. Beveridge and
Patterson. Mr. Dr. Ramsdell -
son of the Col - and I - had a fine
dinner - then reminiscences of Alaska
& cards & cigars - a delightful evening.
Millard & wife called on Mrs. W -
& I at our rooms but we were out.
Mrs. W- went with the Sammons to
see the "Red Feather". last night
