Snowed part of the day & the wind blew keenly in our faces in the after noon. Mr and Mrs Noyes, who keept the "Halfway" Island roadhouse in 1900 now keep the Nation road house and we had good supper and bed in the bunkhouse. -22- Trails better today - but we only made Charley Creek road house where we are for the night.
