Title hand-written on slide . This color slide was taken by Charlotte E . Mauk on June 17 , 1961 and depicts the dining hall at Camp Denali in Mount McKinley National Park (now Denali National Park and Preserve) . There are six people and a dog sitting outside the log building , and two of the people are identified as "Ade " and "Celia. " "Ade " is wildlife biologist and naturalist Adolph Murie (b . 1899) , with whom Mauk was traveling through the park , and "Celia " is Celia M . Hunter (1919-2001) , founder of Camp Denali . The date is stamped on the slide .
