Description
Title supplied by the indexer . The organization's motto "No boundary line here" is written on the top of the sign . Below this is an emblem consisting of two crossed flags , the Union Jack and the Stars and Stripes ; a gold pan with a crossed pick and shovel ; and the letters ‘A.B.’ The artwork throughout the sign is of an Alaskan and winter theme . In addition to the snowy , icy scenes depicted , there are illustrations of a totem pole , a dog sled team , a log cabin , and a man on skis writing a sentence beginning with, "Mush on. " Written on the bottom left are the words "friendship " and "fidelity. " The artist's name and "Skagway , Alaska " are written bottom right . The Arctic Brotherhood was formed as a fraternal organization in 1899 by gold-seekers headed for the Klondike .
