Description
Title from verso .Photograph of planes ready to go on a bombing run on Kiska Island . Verso reads : "American war planes are all set to have a go at Japs [ Japanese ] on Kiska , only 63 miles away from them on this new landing field constructed on Amchitka Island . The Navy's announcement today of the January occupation of the rocky isle , in the Rat group , explains how Yank pilots have been able to keep up their continuous aerial attacks on Jap [ Japanese ] installations on Kiska .
