This was the first snowmachine in Levelock. It was called the "husky". Peter Apokedak bought it from Freddie Roehl. Left to right: Emma Wilson, Ida Apokedak holding Jolin, and Peter Apokedak holding Peter Da. They were going home from church.

Evon and Stephanie Apokedak had a fishcamp on the mouth of Kasinak, which is down river from Igiugig. Evon made a dog house from an old boat. The family lived in the little house during the summer months to put up fish for the winter.
