Sections of pipes are strewn about behind him on the dirt, in the shrubs and against the building in the background. A forested hill can be seen in the distance. Text beneath photo on album page: "Here Louie holds a bison skull. Gold Stream. 1935." Text above photo on album page: "Louie Giddings, U of A student, employee of the Fairbanks Exploration Company, became a important anthropologist, did some original work in dendrochronology and was invited to study with Douglas of Arizona. He was killed in an auto accident in the '60s."
