Description	The entire collection contains reports, correspondence, pamphlets, and administrative records received from the agricultural stations at Matanuska, Fairbanks, and Petersburg. The papers address such topics as environmental data, Alaskan flora, dairy projects, grazing lands, and fur farming . The photographs include 23 photograph albums documenting work done on the experimental farms and stations, especially in Fairbanks . Album 5, “Miscellaneous,” includes UAF-1968-0004-00411 to UAF-1968-0004-00681 . Historical note: Alaskan agricultural stations were built at Kenai, Rampart, Copper Center, Fairbanks, Kodiak, Matanuska, Petersburg, and Homer. As population centers shifted, goals and objectives for agricultural research changed and the stations at Copper Center, Kenai, Rampart, Kodiak, and Sitka were closed.
